To begin with Work Assist, after login, first you need to create or add an Asset Type with respect to your specific industrial environment or equipment.
An Asset Type is a group of similar Assets. It refers to a classification or category that groups similar assets together based on their common characteristics, functions, or purposes. For example, all your printers could be grouped into an "Printers" Asset Type, and all your jet engines could be grouped into a "Jet Engines" Asset Type.
Click on “Asset” under Work Assist.
An “Asset” dashboard will appear on your screen.
Now click on the “ Add button “ under the “ Asset Type Selection” to add an asset type.
You will see an "Add Asset Type" section where you can enter your "Asset Type" details such as: Asset Type Name, Description, Serial Number, and upload relevant images directly from your system.
After filling the details, Click on “ Save” button to save an asset type.
You will see a notification that your asset type has been successfully created and saved.
